Karl Magnus Troedsson is a veteran game developer, entrepreneur, and studio leader turned investor. After two decades of building and leading award-winning AAA teams (e.g. Battlefield, Star Wars: Battlefront) he switched track to making angel investments in smaller start-ups, which led to founding Behold Ventures in 2021, a Nordic- and European focused, early-stage venture capital fund focused on video games.
Sigurlína IngvarsdóttirFounding Partner, Behold Ventures
Sigurlína Ingvarsdóttir is an Icelandic video games expert, with experience from some of the most successful games in the world.
Sigurlína grew up in Iceland, spending most of her early days horse riding, reading fantasy and science fiction, as well as playing all sorts of games.
She graduated with a degree in industrial engineering from the University of Iceland in 2002 and later started her game career by joining CCP Games where she worked on EVE Online.
After that, she spent one year at Ubisoft, then moved on to join DICE in 2012 to work on Star Wars Battlefront that later became a massive success.
After shipping Battlefront she relocated to Vancouver to become the Senior Producer on Strategy for FIFA, the best selling sports video game in the world and then moved on to California to work at Bonfire Studios, a venture backed game studio.
After relocating to her native Iceland in 2020 due to covid she turned her focus towards board roles and early stage investments and quickly joined up with KM Troedsson and Magnus Kenneby to form Behold Ventures, an early stage VC fund with a focus on the Nordic region, a global game development hotspot.
Sigurlína sits on the boards of multiple companies in the games industry and is the Vice Chairman of Festi, one of the largest listed companies in Iceland.

Shum founded Agnitio Capital in 2003 and has over 25 years of technology mergers and acquisitions expertise with 17 years focused solely on the video games industry. The firm has advised on over $3 billion worth of M&A deals and fundraisings.
Shum is an early stage investor and board director of Heroic Labs Ltd, Pretty Soon SA, Windwalk Games Inc, and Torpor Games AG. He is also an early-stage investor in ScoreSpace Inc and Scriptic Ltd. Shum was also a seed investor in Sviper GmbH, Hutch Games Ltd and Innova Intellectual Properties prior to their respective exits

I've been playing games since 1982, which II ater turned into a long career in The Video Game Industry. Been working with data and analytics for 25 years and did the same for gaming companies where I started and led analytics and research departments for 5 of the top 10 (in revenue) gaming companies in Sweden. These are Mojang, DICE, Paradox, Avalanche and Toca Boca. Also started out working on EVE-Online in my native Iceland.
Seen the rise of the Swedish Gaming Industry from the inside and am now working with Behold Ventures finding interesting companies and opportunities to invest in within this space.
