Welcome to the 20th annual Invest in Games – Europe’s biggest meeting place for games and investors. Presented by Dataspelsbranschen (Swedish Game Industry) and Bird & Bird, in partnership with Behold Ventures and CDG Booster.

Most investors see Swedish games from the outside, through a pitch deck, a Steam page, or a headline about another hit. Invest in Games is a chance to meet the people behind them in person, in Stockholm, for an afternoon.

We bring speakers, investors and strategic partners in from around the world and put them in a room with the local industry: founders who have built real hits, studios on their way up, and the Swedish investors who know this scene best.

Sweden gave the world Minecraft, Candy Crush, Battlefield, Valheim, It Takes Two and many, many more. The hits keep coming. That didn't happen by accident, and many of the people who know how will be at Biblioteket Live, in the heart of Stockholm’s game neighbourhood, on November 11.

What's on?

Founders from successful Swedish studios talk openly about building and scaling their games, including what they would do differently.

We release the Swedish Games Industry 2026 - Game Developer Index, the annual numbers on how the Swedish games industry is actually doing. (Last year's Index)

Investors share what they're seeing in the market right now, and where they think it's going.

We finish with Dragon's Den (the game industry flavour), where new Swedish studios pitch live to a panel of investors. If you're looking for early deal flow, this is it.

Then we hang out. Drinks, conversations, and the part most people remember.
